There are several reasons why you might not have received your Personal Identification Number (PIN) yet:
Possible reason | What to check | How to resolve |
---|---|---|
Your account is not on PIN hold. | Is there a PIN alert displayed on your AdSense homepage? | If not, wait until your account balance reaches the verification threshold. |
Your PIN hasn’t been sent yet. | Has it been a week since your account balance reached the verification threshold? | If not, allow at least a week for your PIN to be generated and mailed to you. |
You haven’t allowed enough time for your PIN to arrive.PINs often take up to 4 weeks to reach you by mail, though it may take longer depending on your location. | Has it been 3 weeks since your PIN was sent? Check the PIN verification card on your AdSense homepage, to find out when your PIN was generated. | If not, wait for at least 3 weeks for your PIN to arrive. If you still haven’t received your PIN after 3 weeks, you can request a replacement PIN. Your replacement PIN will be an exact duplicate of the original PIN. You can enter any of the PINs that you receive, regardless of which one arrives first. |
Your payment address is not valid. | Are the payment address details in your AdSense account correct? | If not, change the payment address in your AdSense account. After you’ve updated your address, you can request a replacement PIN. |
Note: Depending on your location, you may be able to send us an official document as proof of your address. If you’re eligible, you’ll see a notice on the homepage of your AdSense account with instructions on how to send us your official document.
